Who am I?
A little about me....
I was born in Manchester, and spent most of my life in West London, before moving up to Oxfordshire in 2011.
I had to grow up quickly due to the home environment I was in, there was shouting and violent behaviour. My Mother and I moved to London, but had to move around a bit so I ended up the shy new kid in primary schools so was easy to pick on, and in secondary school got heavily bullied. In my 20s, both of my parents got ill and passed away.

All of this has had a lasting effect, and it's only now I realise how far I have come and I want to be able to use my experiences growing up with others and help support people on their personal journey showing that life can turn around for the better.

Mental Health along with physical health is important, and is close to my heart with friends and family who experience this on a daily basis ranging from anxiety, to bi-polar.

I have spent most of my career in and out of HR roles from a Administration capacity. Most recently a homeless charity where I worked in a hostel and could see at first hand people had taken a different path and became addicted to substances due to the trauma they experienced and ended up on the streets. This spurred me on more to help people more directly.

I have completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching and Solution Focussed and this toolkit along with continual training provides me with the skills to be able to help people over their hurdles and back to being themselves.

A day in the life......
Most days you will find me out and about getting out for a good walk whether on my own, with my husband or with our two greyhounds, catching up with friends, lifting weights and getting fit at the gym, reading lots of books from Richard Osman to those where people have triumphed over adversity and tapping into my creative side of a Brush Party or mosaics.

Recent accomplishments have seen me complete 50km up and down in the Chiltern Hills, and am currently looking for my next challenge in 2025!
